So, for the first time in 15 years, I finally revisited Disney. It was just as amazing as expected!

Getting there
We took the RER A train from Nation all the way to Marne-la-vallee - our regular metro tickets worked on this trip, so I think you can use them? We weren't 100% sure and couldn't find anywhere to check, so I would do your research before heading out! The journey took about 40-50 mins - much quicker than expected, and so much cheaper than booking transfers from central Paris.

We arrived at the train station, and then you have to walk through the Disney Village to your desired park - either Disneyland Park or Walt Disney Studios. As we were only there for the day, we only went to Disneyland Park, which was plenty for me! (If you want to do both, you can get tickets for 2 parks in 1 day, but it's a squeeze!)

We pre-booked our tickets about a couple of months ago, and went for the MAGIC ticket for 1 park in 1 day. This was about £49 or so, which, given we were there from opening til the end of the fireworks, was very much worth the money!

We didn't go on as many rides as planned, as we didn't really plan too much, and queues ended up being SO long. We did go on:
  • It's a Small World
  • Les Pays des Contes de Fees (basically a ride taking you through miniature versions of all the movies)
  • Casey Jr - le Petit Train du Cirque (a mini railroad)
  • Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast
  • Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains (Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs)
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
And we did walk through Discovery Arcade, Sleeping Beauty's castle and its gallery, Main Street USA, as well as seeing the 25th Anniversary show and the Princess show at the Pavillion. We also had really good seats for the lunchtime parade and the Disney Illuminations show at the very end which was AMAZING! (You absolutely must stay for this!)

Unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to meet many characters, as we saw very few walking around - they're all in meet and greets now with MASSIVE queues; not like how they were last time I visited! Characters who were there included:
  • Mickey & Minnie
  • Goofy
  • Pluto
  • Donald & Daisy Duck
  • Chip & Dale
  • Woody & Jessie
  • Smee & Captain Hook
  • Alice & The Mad Hatter
  • Princess & Princes (Snow White & The Prince; Cinderella & Prince Charming; Anna & Elsa, Tiana & Prince Naveen; Aladdin & Jasmine; Belle & The Beast; Sleeping Beauty & Prince Charming; Ariel & Eric)
All 3 of us bought the classic Minnie Mouse ears, and I also picked up a Disneyland Paris mug (I have an obsession), and a Christmas decoration (I get them on every trip).

The little touches to celebrate the 25th anniversary were subtle but beautiful - the only more obvious thing I found were the beautiful statues of the characters in front of the castle - Tinkerbell, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Mickey & Minnie had their own sections. It was so beautiful, decked out in blue and gold.

I would 100% go back - I'd love to go for Halloween or Christmas at some point and dress up! Disney is always the most magical experience. Photos below!
