Normally I have the one chocolate-filled advent calendar, but this year I decided to branch out a bit and get a couple of beauty calendars. I've got only 2 as beauty calendars tend to be a bit more on the pricey side, and as I've not been working, I'm on a limited budget for the time being!

This year, I went for the Malteasers chocolate advent calendar as Teasers are one of my favourite chocolates EVER, and I've never had their chocolate one before. I've had Thorntons, Dairy Milk, John Lewis etc chocolate ones before, and none of them have particularly wowed me - they've all been the same shape or the chocolate hasn't been so good, so I have better hopes for this one!

Because I have only a very small obsession with +LUSH, I was very kindly gifted their 12 Days of Christmas set this year from my wonderful boyfriend (I didn't even tell him to get it). It's got a mix of bath bombs and bubble bars, shower gels, soap and body lotion in it which all sounds divine - I love their products and wanted to branch out a bit to try some different things so this is ideal for me! I'm so so excited to open this one!

Finally, I've got +Tanya Burr's 12 Days of Christmas beauty advent calendar from her range, Tanya Burr Cosmetics. I love this brand as the products are not only affordable but also of a very good quality - perfect for someone like me who doesn't have a huge budget! This calendar appears to have a mix between lashes, lip colours, eye liners and glitters, and looks so festive! I love the design of it and can't wait to have more of her products in my collection!

While I don't have any more calendars (the joys of being a student with fees to pay) the ones I would buy if I had the budget would be:
- Charlotte Tilbury World of Legendary Parties Advent Calendar
Liberty London Beauty Advent Calendar
NYX Professional Makeup Advent Calendar - Wanderlust
Bluebird Tea Co. Luxury Tea Advent Calendar

Which calendars have you got this year? Any brands you'd recommend for the future?
